About IndicLens
Last updated: 18 June 2026
IndicLens (indiclens.com) is an online reflection service that helps visitors explore life questions in light of verses from the Bhagavad Gita. You ask a question; IndicLens retrieves relevant verses and offers a thoughtful, AI-assisted reflection grounded in those passages.
Reflections from the Bhagavad Gita — for study, curiosity, or life's harder questions.
Who it is for
- Anyone curious about the Gita's perspective on duty, work, relationships, anxiety, loss, and everyday dilemmas
- Students and seekers who want verse-linked context alongside traditional study
- People navigating difficult seasons who want contemplative framing — not a substitute for professional care
How it works
IndicLens uses semantic search over a curated Bhagavad Gita corpus, then generates a reflection that cites specific chapters and verses. Popular reflections from other visitors (with consent) may appear in the sidebar. Signed-in users receive starter credits; guests can browse a limited number of reflections per day.
What IndicLens is not
- Not a temple, guru, or religious authority
- Not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice
- Not a crisis or emergency service — if you are in danger or severe distress, contact qualified help where you live
- Not a replacement for reading authoritative editions, commentaries, or study with qualified teachers
Interpretations may vary. For authoritative understanding, refer to original Sanskrit texts and established commentaries. See our full disclaimer.
